St Mary's Atherstone
About Us
St Mary's Church is situated in the heart of Atherstone at the top of the main Market Square. Our vicar is the Reverend Michael Brandsma and our Lay Reader John Stock.
Here at St Mary's we run a number of groups for all ages, along with regular community events which are held within the church.
The PCC
The Parochial Church Council
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) comprises 12 members, including the two Churchwardens and one co-opted member. There are vacancies for one Deanery Representative and one elected member. Meetings are usually held every other month. The PCC is supported by teams made up of PCC members and other interested parties, namely: the Pastoral and Missions Team, the Buildings Team, the Social Team, the Events and Fund Raising Team, and the Administration Team.
